Hi all, TAXSAVING - SCHEME - EXPENDITURE ON HOUSELOAN RAISED TO Rs,. 75000 Is this news correct If you fill form 12 B does that mean you can avail of 75000 + 70,000 (tax saving rebate ceiling) Rupees deducted from your income for calculation of taxable income Please advise of any sites (websites ) which has all this info Thanks and Regards Pramod

Rs 75000 is deductible as interest paid on loans for purchase/construction of house property. it is allowable only when the house is occupied for own residence. try www.timesofindia.com and click on the Tax Centre box p jain new delhi
